WHY TAKE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS
Sure, taking cute photos together can be really fun. It may also be one of the only times in your lives when you actually get nice photos taken as a couple (that is, when you aren't in fancy formalwear).
But aside from making for a really great date, there are 3 great reasons to get engagement photos before your wedding:

To get to know your photographer and get used to posing with your fiancé in front of the camera.

To get some awesome photos that show off your personalities and can be used in save-the-dates, on your wedding website, and wherever else you'll need photos of yourselves looking fantastic.

To show that snarky Carol from high school that you still look incredible.
Okay, that last one is not a good reason, per se, but if you want, I will definitely help you make Carol explode with jealousy.
